Discover the story of a young woman-ambitious, smart, driven-and her struggle to thrive and succeed in a very patriarchal society in Africa. When both her personal and professional life descends into darkness, she learns that there is only one true source of light and hope in this sinful world. As adversity strikes, again and again, she returns to her spiritual roots and dedicates her life to the God who saved her in the midst of personal hell. "At first, I regretted having accepted to read your voluminous manuscript. So, while attending a seminar, during break time, I perused the first pages, hoping to find an excuse to return it to you. However, when I began reading, I could not stop. I started using my lunch break and squeezing time here and there, often escaping to my car or isolating myself, to read it. It is a page-turner." -Pastor, Dr. Stanley Reginald Michael
