This book narrates the relationship between a young woman from a conservative family, who, from ages 15 to 19, was present in the life of Beco (Ayrton Senna da Silva's nickname), a guy who was 9 years older than her, as he began his career in Formula 1. The relationship was kept out of the media's eye. It was a conservative relationship, which took place inside Adriane's house and in the company of her family. The book talks about the difficulties faced by this couple to make their connection possible, the problems caused by the constant distance and growing media harassment. It also narrates what was going on behind the scenes from his first F1 victory at the Portugal GP in 1985 (which he dedicated to "My girl" and his family in a television interview) until he became the world champion in 1988 at Suzuka (when he again mentioned her and his family). This is a book that is full of information and complemented by photos and personal love letters from Senna. It shows where his hobbies, conflicts and aspirations were born, and is filled with testimonies from those who knew the couple, family, friends. It also presents statement from the reporter Reginaldo Leme. This is an honest, sincere and documented account of what happened between them until the day of his death.
