Narayani Anaya was born in Spain, in 1979, Narayani had a colorful and creative childhood. She also started her interest in metaphysics at the age of four, asking her father about concepts like karma and reincarnation. As a young adult, trained as a hairdresser, Narayani found a love for connecting with people, and a talent for first job. Her father, introduced Narayani to Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramhansa Yogananda (his guru). Narayani's love for Yogananda and her spiritual path had begun. In 2002, she went to Ananda Europa in Assisi, Italy, with her father to visit Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. Then in 2005, she moved to India to work with Kriyananda and those in the Ananda Community in India. Narayani spent three years working as Kriyananda's assistant, learning and preparing her for later carrying the deep spiritual lessons to those of her generation of seekers.
