Autorenporträt
Yes, I am 78 years, soon to be 79 years young, and proud of it. I love being a grandmother. Looking into the future time that is given to me,, I want to cherish the time I have left. Never think about death. Only live knowing each day is as special a day as you can make it. Always honour your family and attend all the special occasions that make their life complete and happy. Love, cry and manage brokenness, mentor your grandchildren as if they are your own. Love nature as if it is yours to love. Show your grandchildren the importance of future nature needs, living in a free and unpolluted world. Always be proud of who you are. Don't be afraid to try new ideas, and to open the world up to you more. Show everyone you are open to dance the night away at your grandchildren's wedding. Always be willing to forgive and forget, and help people when in need. The time is yours and you are the only one that can make it special, just for you. Remember if you don't have a family, a few close friends will always be yours. Never judge a person until you know them, in the depths of every part of who they are, and every situation they have to face. Honour life, and remember the lives that were lost to give you the freedom to live. When someone says, 'don't bother with her, she's old,' remember: what's old can be new again, and can lead the young to a new beginning in our world.
