Mamie Morgan's poems and essays have appeared in Washington Square Review, Muzzle, Smartish Pace, Cimarron, The Greensboro Review, Inkwell, Carolina Quarterly, Oxford American, Four Way Review, Nimrod, Fish Barrel Review, Glass, The Yalobusha Review, Terrain, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA in Poetry from UNC Wilmington and a BA in English and Religious Studies from Wofford College. Mamie owns an independent bridal shop in South Carolina and waitresses any shift she can get. Her first full-length collection, Everyone I've Danced With Is Dead, is forthcoming from JackLeg Press.
