She is a member of the TOP-10 most published children's authors in Russia according to the Book Chamber, a master of fairy tales, and a talented teacher with 20 years of experience working with children. Ellina Tanygina says she became an illustrator by accident. She graduated in civil engineering but fell in love with illustration when creating a character for a set of bed sheets. She now passionately illustrates books, inspired by fantastic stories of magic, miracles, and wizardry. She dreams of illustrating an edition of Terry Pratchett's Discworld one day!
