Autorenporträt
Katrin Wiehle grew up in a tiny village in the North of Germany and moved to the US a few years ago. She illustrates and writes books for children and all kinds of people and is part of the illustration group Paper Ghost Press. She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband Mike, two cats, and two awesome kids. A Natural World board books are natural inside and out, including the way they are made. The author-illustrator explains tackling this printing challenge: "Since the books are printed on a dark all natural cardboard I had to figure out how the colors would behave on this kind of material during the printing process. As much as I loved the material I didn’t know what the print results would look like, but now I have a system to ensure I get the colors I want."
