Originally from the Midwest, I've lived in Florida, California, and now happily reside in Atlanta, GA. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications while 6 months pregnant with my amazing son. It has always been a dream of mine to write a book, and I'm just getting started. I enjoy exploring the world with my son, concerts, good food, sci-fi (especially apocalyptic, dystopian, and space genres), the beach, the rain, and hanging with close friends. I believe positive image representation is important in fostering confidence and self-love from an early age. I didn't see any books of children with locs available anywhere, so I created it myself.
