The author was born with a neuromuscular condition, a form of muscular dystrophy. For the first twenty-five years of her life, she didn't know why she had weakness and lack of ability until a muscle biopsy confirmed the results. But that didn't stop her from being the best mother and wife that she could be. She had strayed away from the church and prayer in her younger years, but a terrible accident brought her to the realization that she needed God back in her life if she was going to survive. Karilynn is a farm wife and mother who lives in Central Alberta with her husband of thirty-three years. She was born with a muscular condition, but did not want the ailment to set her back. Many of the stories in the book cover the overcoming of many struggles. She had three very active children who led her on a life of activity and rodeo journeys. Recently Karilynn has been the instrumental worship leader at their local church, providing ways to keep a congregation supported in church services.
