Angel grew up in the absence of her biological parents and was exposed to a lot of trauma. She was raped as a child, molested by some of her teachers, neighbor and some extended family relations. She also had an incident at 8yrs old which almost took her life. She also battled for a longtime with low self-esteem. Leaving her country as a teenager to America felt like an escape route until she started experiencing similar traumatic experiences which resulted to her feeling rejected, lost, depressed with suicide constantly coming to her mind as the only way out. At age 18 Angel started visiting and attending churches but nothing really changed as she was only a "church goer". Then one day she had an encounter with Jesus in her dream who in return gave her a deeper understanding of what true love and true conversion is and what it meant to accepted, renewed, loved, and transformed.
