Autorenporträt
Kristina Kasengulu, 17, is a writer who lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with her mom and younger brother Chris Elijah. She has had a strong desire to write since she was a child, and she aspires to publish numerous novels in the near future. She wrote My Miami 1992 on her Mother's laptop while she was just 13 years old and bored by quarantine. She is thankful to her family and Dr. Rose Joshua for transforming what she believed would be one of her multiple book archives into a published novel. Aside from being an author, Kristina is a competitive dancer, plays both the violin and piano, performed as the lead role of Mayzie in her high school's production of Seussical, and has been a member of her church choir since she was 11 years old. She hopes that adolescents will be able to read, learn and be encouraged from her books. One day, by the grace of God, she hopes to become a #1 New York Times Bestseller.
