This story is about a young boy whose mom worked in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. I found my elementary students didn't understand everyone talking about 9/11 and the tragedy of it. Through this story, they may grasp the personal sorrow of this child and the hidden message of telling those you love how important they are.

Autor

About the author: I am a 3rd grade teacher in Anderson, S.C. I have enjoyed writing since I was seven years old. I hope you enjoyed this story. About the illustrator: Jordan Jackson is the youngest son of the author. He began drawing at a very young age and greatly improved when he was home-schooled for kindergarten with his grandmother, a self-taught artist. He is 22 years old.
