Deborah Kanafani, LCSW, was trained as a psychotherapist and is the Founder of Bizzy Girls and author of Kate Kate and The Bizzy Girls. Bizzy Girls books, products and programs are to help young girls (6 -14) develop self confidence, teach entrepreneurship, and expose girls to positive female role models. Deborah is also the author of Unveiled ( Simon and Schuster), a memoir of her three year stay in the Middle East interviewing the wives of Arab leaders fighting for women's rights. While in the Middle East she was Director of PBS, producing TV programs on women and children's rights, airing in 26 countries. Deborah was also Executive Director of Women in Film and Television, Washington, DC.
