Sharon Tobin, and her husband, Mike, live on their hobby farm in Nova Scotia. Sharon was inspired to write her first children's book based on her experiences as a farmer. She has a very special, unique connection with animals, especially with Skye and Squirt. Spending countless hours with them, she is able to reach into their souls. Having a passion for nature and wildlife photography, and a special niche for pet photography, Sharon has captured hundreds of images of her animals' personalities. Her work has been published in Canadian Geographic Magazine. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys making handmade soap, studying alternative medicine and natural remedies, and hiking in the country. She and her husband cherish their quality time with each other and with their children and grandchildren. A breast cancer survivor, her motto is, "Live every day to the fullest!"
