Autorenporträt
Jan Harvey is a poet, singer- songwriter, educator, TEDx presenter, MC, comedienne, one-time TV panellist and radio announcer! She has taught English and Education Pedagogy in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Malaysia. She has swum with sharks, eaten snake, and sold pots and pans door to door.

Jan lives in a sleepy bayside town in SE Queensland, Australia. She has a wonderful husband and a lilac Burmese, called Ophelia, who thinks she is a dog! Jan has a crush of eclectic and well-travelled friends, and her first children's book is inspired by one of these dashing folks.

Jan has read since she first worked out that opposable thumb trick. Her dad always said, 'you can find anything you want to do or know, in a book', and her mum made her write dialogue for her puppet shows at the age of five. Over the years (eons), and teaching classes (bucketloads), Jan knows at her very core that words, music, imagination, and laughter are the four key pillars of life. Now there is a book in the making!
