Michael J. Smajda was born in Johnstown, Pa., and currently resides in Harrisburg, Pa. Married with five children and eight grandchildren, the author has been writing poetry and essays for over four decades. He has published two children's Christmas books. The first, hardcover, A DEER LOVE STORY. The second in paperback is titled, A VERY DEER LOVE STORY. Having been an office manager, painter and factory worker, the author's MY POETIC SHORTS captures the moods and scenery his mind and pen gathered during his unique lifetime.
