Living next door to grandparents added to her list of responsibilities, but being a very obedient child and never rebellious, Bertha continued with her many chores, day in and day out.

Clarice Goodley-Campbell is a retired educator who served in many capacities in her field as teacher, administrator, and counselor. In addition, she belongs to many organizations in her church and loves to volunteer with the elders in nursing homes and other facilities.She is married Al and has one daughter, Cheryl. Her hobbies are reading, traveling and working on crossword puzzles.Being a cancer survivor for twenty-five years, she holds a Breast Cancer Awareness event at her church every year to remind everyone, women and men, that the key to cancer survivor is early detection.Clarice has written a memoire of herself entitled, Looking Back, which was published ten years ago.
