Luísa Teixeira was born in 1983 in the village of Alijó, Vila Real. She has a degree in Anthropology and a Master's in Archaeology from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon. She has a postgraduate degree in Criminology, Biological and Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Sciences, Criminal Investigation and Deviant Behaviour.
