Are you getting enough sleep? Do you want to sleep better? Have more uplifting dreams? In ancient societies decisions made were often guided by dreams. In many holy scriptures, like the Bible, you will find multiple references to divine visions. The human body, mind, and senses use sleep-the physiological state of unconsciousness and rest-to heal and maintain good health and positive mood. Healthy sleep is the type that offers the right quality and the right quantity. It should provide an increased energy level, growth, feeding of body tissues and brain cells, strengthening of the immune system, overall vitality, and longevity. Insufficient, excessive, or interrupted sleep will have the opposite effect, bringing with it potentially negative consequences. Anna Shapiro utilizes research, personal experience, and yogic spiritual practices to explain how you can improve your sleep and uplift your dreams. In this book, Anna Shapiro describes her own spiritual dreams experienced (or received). Through her dedicated spiritual lifetime of meditation and yoga practice, and as a psychologist and psychotherapist, Shapiro has studied sleep patterns and its effects on the individual, with particular focus on improving these patterns for a healthier sleep with more uplifting dreams. Also from the author: The Quest for Inner Happiness, Gentle Yoga with Great Benefits and Parents and Children: Relationships Born from Love.
