About the Author Sherry McMillan is an acclaimed children's poet who approaches her subjects with respect and curiosity. Sherry resides in White Rock, B.C. where she loves to explore the beautiful ecology of the Pacific Northwest in all its varieties. In What The Seal Saw, we explore the ocean and coastlines. About the Illustrator Carla Maskall is an award-winning artist who draws all of her inspiration for this book from the beautiful scenery of the province of British Columbia, Canada.
