In this poetic and highly inspirational book, Abigail Couzens shares her emotionally tried journey through her childhood while battling sexual abuse and molestation. Abigail writes how at seven-years-old, she was forced to feel what was only meant for a husband and wife, which she was made to endure for eight long years. She shares the overwhelming pain she felt with those close to her, but the truth was not believed. Abigail encourages parents to take precaution in listening to their children as they express any kind of sexual abuse or molestation. Those children and adults struggling with molestation and the lingering trauma of it need to know it was not their fault, and that there is hope and help. Drugs and alcohol are not the way. Know that Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, ready to help. Abigail Couzens wrote this book for restoration. To inspire those who were victims to take back their voice. To confront their seven-year-old selves and say no more.
