Dr. Phyllis C. Harris, Ed.D., Educational Pundit, is the CEO of proceED and is a world-renowned educator who specializes in Gifted Instruction and identifying Gifted and Talented students globally. She is the first African American female founding executive of an American Curriculum International School in Kuwait. She specializes in writing curriculum, coordinating Professional Development, and Motivational Speaking. Her motivational speeches are presented in a savvy way to engage, inspire, and transform audiences across the globe. Dr. Harris has over 25 years of classroom and leadership experience serving students both in the United States and abroad. Dr. Harris uses creativity, innovation, and an array of interactive learning activities to ensure that students have an enjoyable, enriching, and engaging learning experience. Her teaching techniques have consistently resulted in successful execution of school wide learning goals, improved end of year test scores, and overall grade level academic performance. Dr. Harris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Curriculum Instruction from North Carolina A&T State University, a Master's in Education Administration and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in K12 Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Dr. Harris is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated(R), the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college women.Elsa is the illustrator.
