The journey within... Having grown up in the internationally loved city of New Orleans, with all its delicious food, unique music, eccentric and sometimes backward culture, I realized early on and I wanted to get out and see the rest of the world. After spending years working in Washington, DC and New York City and traveling extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as visiting some interesting places such as Yemen, Havana, Jerusalem, Moscow, Argentina, and even spending some time in Antarctica, I came to realize that I never really stopped to discover myself, who I am on the inside, and who I wanted to be as a son, a father, a friend and a companion. This, my fourth book of poetry and short stories, is based on my journey from my first 18 years. Hopefully, there will be more to come as I continue to travel on this exciting discovery of who I am on this journey within.

Autorenporträt
Jeffrey Pipes Guice worked for years in New Orleans, Washington D.C., and New York City but still found time to travel worldwide. He traversed Europe, Asia, and Africa and even observed penguins in Antarctica. He also visited exciting cities like Cairo, Jerusalem, Havana, Moscow, Yemen, Argentina, and Phuket, all searching for purpose. The only place Guice never set out to discover was inside himself.
