Lara Hocheiser is an educator, public speaker, founder of Flow and Grow Kids Yoga, author of My Yoga Workbook: A Winter Yoga Journey, and the upcoming titles Yoga with Dragon and My Yoga Workbook: Healthy Bedtime Habits, mother, wife, entrepreneur, teacher, kids yoga specialist, avid reader, and lover of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking countries, and of course, writer. She has been writing for Gaia since 2016. You can find her renowned Flow and Grow Kids Yoga teacher trainings all over the Northeast United States, and starting in the second half of 2018, in Israel, the West Coast of the USA, Iceland, Spain, and beyond. Her blog won the #5 kids yoga blog worldwide, claiming this title based on editorial choice, for the high quality free resources, illustrations of children of all walks of life, tips for parents and teachers, and interviews. Lara has been working in education since her teens. She is steeped in yoga and has been studying yoga philosophy since 2003. She has training in vinyasa, viniyoga, prenatal, and children's yoga. She currently teaches at schools and centers in New York City, where she lives with her baby daughter and husband. Lara's teaching philosophy is to find the greatness in every child. Her writing philosophy is let it flow and then refine, refine, refine. Her leadership style is to hire a team, create trust through communication, and then empower them to do great work.
