The symbioses are generally classed as either arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) or ectomycorrhizal (EM) and the different types are defined by both the taxonomy of the fungi as well as the structures formed by the fungi and the hyphal growth formed around plant roots (Smith & Read 2008). Mycorrhizal helper bacteria increase the root fungal association and helps in plant health, productivity, stress tolerance for the plant etc.
