Genotypic analysis including Linkage analysis and LOD scores were calculated through bioinformatics softwares. It was revealed from the results that both clinical and genetic factors are involved in development of nearsightedness. This work has paved pathway for young scholars to understand molecular disease at a broader scale. Further study may identify any new locus responsible for causing the disease in this population. And this may lead to identification of novel gene. This will help in developing more advanced treatment techniques and suggesting new therapies for myopia treatment.
