Witchcraft continues to attract world-wide attention and interest because it is a social, life-threatening and changing issue. The belief in witchcraft and consequent witch-hunt is found in many cultures all over the world such as the Europe and Africa and more seriously in sub-Sahara Africa. Witches are perceived to be people, both male and female, who possess permanent supernatural powers which they use either knowingly or unknowingly to harm others, cause havoc in other people¿s lives or to be advantage to their own. The book illustrates the tragedies and woes some cultures in Africa subject the alleged witches and wizards to. It is appalling to see how witches in disguise live their lives for fear that they may be killed or banished from their homes due to the notion that their presence is a threat to the family members and all those around.
