Ron Brunk is an eccentric entertainer, singer, guitarist, and artist; and a prolific writer of songs, poetry, short stories and novels. Much of his work in the early years was considered 'underground' and he developed a loyal, cult following who appreciated his dark humor and often tongue-in-cheek approach. He has released 7 Music CDs (including the critically acclaimed 'Funk the Brunk' 2011 release), and worked with some of the world's greatest musicians and artists. He describes his frightening experiences with life-threatening intestinal hemorrhages, and his 18-year battle with 28 strange ailments including fibromyalgia, anxiety disorders, IBS, panic attacks, OCD, eating disorders, shingles, depression and many more. This inspiring book provides a powerful testimony to the healing power of the mind, meditation, and diet over one's mysterious ailments. Brunk's personal life has sometimes been the source of amusement to many, and even ridicule for some. He married and divorced the same woman three times, the third marriage occurring in Las Vegas and accompanied by an Elvis impersonator. That sometimes stormy relationship produced three wonderful children who have become happy and successful world travelers and adventurers. Brunk also concurrently held two prestigious positions in the natural gas and coal industries throughout the 1990's. He managed a high-profile Experimental Multistrata Gas Well Research Project for Mountain State University, and was also Manager of GIS/Mapping Services and Director of Marketing at Caperton Energy, serving a variety of Fortune 500 clients in the Coal, Natural Gas, Railroad, and Utilities Industries. As of this writing, Brunk resides in Nashville, TN, where he writes novels and songs, produces records, performs on-stage, and joyfully seizes every single moment of every single day.
