Produktbeschreibung
Emily Rodavich considers herself an ordinary person whose unexpected and astonishing experiences caused her to feel "different" from her family and friends. When she was in elementary school, her gently cultivated faith in God enabled her to survive abuse and trauma without lasting anger, bitterness, or blame. At age eighteen she had a near-death experience, which seemingly opened the door to subsequent spiritual events. Unable to share her mystical encounters with most friends or family for fear they'd think her "strange," she kept them to herself. Now in her later years, she realizes the many meaningful ways those fortuitous happenings have impacted her life. In hope that other "ordinary people" like herself will come forth and share their "extraordinary experiences," she chronicles ten of her stunning interludes in this book.

Emily Rodavich is a product of several small industrial communities in the Pittsburgh area. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and later graduated from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Mystical Interludes is her first book, though her artistic endeavors have bloomed elsewhere. The musical, Your Most Humble Servant, based on the lives of Samuel Johnson and his biographer James Boswell, was produced at the White Barn Theater in Irwin, Pennsylvania, and also in a small theater in London, England. While teaching high school English, she directed school plays and also patented a hands-on methodology for teaching the parts of speech. Emily has traveled to parts of the United States and to Europe, Egypt, China, Thailand, and Israel partly to explore spiritual, religious, and supernatural mysteries, including her own. She is mother to three children and grandmother to two grandsons and two granddaughters. Her offspring include several talented musicians and singer/songwriters. Visit emilyrodavich.com.
