Nathalie Clayer, Ph.D. in History, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales de Paris (1993), former research fellow at the Institut Français d'Etudes Anatoliennes in Istanbul. She is a specialist in the history of the Balkan Muslim communities.
