He functions within the two roles effortlessly in his quest to gather, evaluate and analyse the materials available to him: words, wood, raffia, road, river, mountain or whatever, which in themselves carry a spirituality or an innate essence. Dr Niyi Akingbe,a Senior Lecturer, Department of English, Joseph Ayo Babalola University,Ikeji-Arakeji,Osun State,Nigeria.An engaging literary critic,he was educated at the Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife,where he received a bachelor's degree in English Studies,and University of Lagos, where he received both MA in Literature and Ph.D in English.
