Autorenporträt
A Washington, D.C. Metro area native with 20+ years of professional graphic design experience and a lifelong obsession with illustrating. I love bringing images in my mind to life. I like the tactile feeling of pencil or pen on paper and getting my hands dirty with their lead and ink. I refuse to completely "grow up". At what point do we need to outgrow the things we love? And do we really need to outgrow everything? Who decided that there needed to be an age cap on acting silly, being imaginative, and getting dirty? I say embrace your inner child and ignore those who say "You are too old for that!" Enjoy the things that make you smile, reduces your stress, increases your imagination, and strengthens your bonds with those you love. In fact, by enjoying these things, you are actually being very responsible because you are looking out for your own wellbeing. One of my favorite "past times" , that still brings me joy, is coloring in books. After a long day, coloring is meditative and calms my mind. I am endeavoring to bring this calm to others, inspire creativity and imagination, and bring people closer together through my books.
