Amina Al Sherif is the author of the Nadiri fiction series. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, she immigrated to the United States in 2010 as a first-generation Arab-American and African American. Amina is a member of the LGBTQ+ community as well as a BIPOC writer.Amina has worked with the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) for over ten years as a United States Army officer. She has deployed to Baghdad, Iraq, Northern Syria, Turkey, Israel, as well as Afghanistan supporting the Special Operations Community.
