Where there is love, there is hope. About the Author Shirley Ellen Dodding lives in the interior of British Columbia in a desert zone. She is a retired seventh grade teacher, and this is her second novel. Shirley loves to dance and decorate dance halls. She also loves to spend time with her blended family of ten grown children and nine grandchildren.

Shirley has been a Grade 7 teacher and knows youth. Her life has been one of uplifting numerous young people in her career. When Michael in this story becomes bullied, she felt she needed to help young people everywhere understand how the situation could be resolved and healed. Michael not only helps himself but others in this courageous story. Other genres Shirley has written are: mystery, romance mystery, and non-fiction, including One Hundred Years of Schools in Kamloops. She lives in Kamloops, British Columbia.
