Nanotechnology is an exciting field in scientific research. Today every field of science experiencing saturation and Nanotechnology is new hope to almost every fields of science. In Nanotechnology enhance sensing materials for nanosensor application has attracted researchers. Nanomaterials properties influence the detection of the target material. A better understanding of these properties and utilization of this knowledge will produce better nanosensor. Polyaniline based nanomaterials with TiO2 nanoparticles such as nanocomposite has shown enhance sensitivity for ammonia gas. We had systematically explained the synthesis of nanomaterials for ammonia sensing application. Polyaniline and Polyaniline-rutile and Polyaniline-anatase nanocomposite have been synthesized and ammonia sensing properties of the materials had been characterized. We had shown which phase of TiO2 is best for nanocomposite for ammonia sensing. The present work is useful for professionals, researchers and students interested in Polyaniline based ammonia sensing materials design. This work provides a unique insight in polyaniline based nanocomposite for ammonia sensing.
