"This book covers the emerging and interdisciplinary field of nanoscale computation and communication systems. It includes all the major contributing areas of research, and introduces the important paradigms, ideas, and concepts with an emphasis on computer science and engineering. Difficult concepts are explained in a concise and understandable manner, offering new researchers, students, and interdisciplinary collaborators an entry point into a fast-growing area of research that otherwise requires the study of multiple specialized books and surveys that are often hard to understand. Written by an expert in this field who also teaches this course, the book is pitched at an introductory through intermediate level, and readers will need some basic knowledge of engineering or computer science."--
