The publication titled "Nanoparticles in Catalysis: Advances in C-C Coupling Reaction" a new type of Pd nanocomposite based on TPA ligand, with reverse micelle method which exhibits excellent catalytic efficiency towards Heck coupling reactions has been discussed. It is demonstrated that the TPA ligand is capable of completely wrapping a palladium metal nanoparticle as well as it serves as a stabilizer for keeping the Pd nanocomposite from particle coalescence via a weak coordination bond between ligand and metal nanoparticles, such a relatively weak coordination bond facilitated the ligand exchange reactions and maintain the active sites exposed on the surface hence it showed high catalytic activity towards Heck coupling reaction with wide functional group tolerance.
