Gervas E. Assey received his M.Sc. in chemistry from Hampton University and a PhD in organic chemistry from Howard University. He is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in chemistry at Mwenge Catholic University in the department of Natural Sciences and Information Technology, Moshi, Tanzania.
