There are five chapters in the book: The first chapter discusses the history of nanotechnology, current trends in nanotechnology, behaviors, and different types of nanomaterials. The second chapter describes the various nanoparticle synthesis processes. The approaches from the top down and bottom up are reviewed. The third chapter addresses the environmentally friendly processes used in nanoparticle synthesis. The elements that influence the biological production of NPs are discussed. The fourth chapter discusses characterization processes that are critical in assessing nanoparticle quality. The fifth chapter discusses the use of NPs in numerous fields, including science and technology.
Autorenporträt
Dr. C.A. Gonsago has been a professor in the Mohamed Sathak group of institutions in Chennai, India, since August 2001. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Sathyabama University in Chennai, India, in 2013. He has published more than 40 research articles in various journals of scientific repute and more than 40 papers in Conference Proceedings.
