Autorenporträt

Madara Gruntmane is a poet and pianist. Born in Liepaja, Latvia she holds a BA in Cultural Management. Her collection of poems Narkozes won her the Annual Latvian Literature's Reader's Choice Award in 2016. Since 2010, she has been leading the creative company 'I Did It, ' responsible for organizing a number of cultural projects in Latvia and internationally, including Creative Summer Workshops, and Poetry Day events in Riga and Liepaja. She is currently working on her second book of poems.
