Autorenporträt
Petra Brouwer is an architectural historian at the University of Amsterdam who specializes in the history of modern architecture and town planning. Author of an award-winning study of postwar design of Dutch new towns, she has also served as editor-in-chief for the journal Architectural Histories . Martin Bressani is William C. Macdonald Professor at McGill University’s Peter G-H Fu School of Architecture in Montréal. Coeditor of the Nineteenth-Century Architecture volume of The Companions to the History of Architecture, he is also the author of Architecture and the Historical Imagination: Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc. Christopher Drew Armstrong is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, where he directs the Architectural Studies program. His many publications include the book Julien-David Leroy and the Making of Architectural History .
