John is an artist and creator from Calgary, AB, Canada. After finding a book on realistic portrait drawing at the thrift store in 2020 John began to actively focus on improving his art. He spent two years learning from books and online resources before attending in-person figure drawing sessions in 2022. His love for drawing and of clever wordplay and expression have resulted in "Turn of Phrase" A book of illustrated idioms. John's first published book.
