We have undertaken to gather in this book various personal works that testify to this fascination for the framed narrative. Once selected, we had to proceed to a work of reformulation by adding new studies and to articulate the whole in order to offer the essential on the framed narrative from the literary and didactic point of view. The first part (Historical and theoretical milestones of the framed narrative) aims at marking out the framed narrative through a few key works which would give a good account of the situation without however aspiring to exhaustiveness. They could also, if necessary, constitute a corpus that could be transposed didactically. The second part (The didactic transposition of the framed narrative) is essentially didactic in that it proposes a didactic transposition (external and internal) in secondary school and another in reading and writing workshops.
