Autorenporträt
Irene J.F. de Jong, Ph.D. (1987) in Ancient Greek Literature, University of Amsterdam, is Professor of Greek at the University of Amsterdam. She specializes in the narratological analysis of ancient Greek texts; her publications include Narrators and Focalizers. The Presentation of the Story in the Iliad (1987, repr. 2004) and A Narratological commentary on the Odyssey (2001). René Nünlist, Ph.D. (1996) in Classics, University of Basel, is William A. Dyer, Jr. Assistant Professor of the Humanities at Brown University. He is the author of Poetologische Bildersprache in der frühgriechischen Dichtung (1998) and co-author of the new Basel commentary on the Iliad (2000-). Angus Bowie is Fellow of The Queen's College and Lecturer in Classical Languages in Oxford.
