Richard P. Wunderlin, Professor Emeritus of Biology and Director of the Institute for Systematic Botany at the University of South Florida, is the author of Guide to the Vascular Plants of Central Florida and Guide to the Vascular Plants of Florida (University Press of Florida) and the Atlas of Florida Vascular Plants website (www.florida.plantatlas.usf.edu). George R. Kish is a part-time instructor at St. Petersburg College, Seminole campus, and an affiliate of the USA-National Phenology Network. He is a co-author of the second edition of The Right Native Plants for Dry Places and is a frequent lecturer on such topics as native plant gardening, Florida ecology, and phenology. He collaborates with federal and state agencies, botanical gardens, universities, middle schools, high schools, and nature centers to engage the public in citizen scientist activities.
