Juan José Durante is a Financial Markets Senior Specialist currently working at the Financial Risk Markets Development Group in the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division, Inter-American Development Bank. For the past seven years, Mr. Durante has been focusing on disaster risk financing and management, insurance market development, insurance regulation and supervision to support the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries. He is currently leading various projects and technical cooperation programs, as well as research initiatives, in the LAC region. Mr. Durante holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Buenos Aires, as well as a Master's degree in Business Law and Finance from American University in Washington DC. In addition, Mr. Durante has participated in numerous trainings and courses on risk management and financial risk management. He has published various studies and collaborated on a number of books on these topics. Rafael Rosillo is a Lecturer in Business Management at the University of Leon. He holds a PhD in Business Management from the University of Oviedo, as well as an MBA and a degree in Computer Engineering. His research chiefly focuses on artificial intelligence, stock markets, forecasting, natural hazards, and insurance. He has been a visiting researcher at John Moores University (Liverpool), University College of Dublin, and the Inter-American Development Bank. He has participated in numerous research projects, and is the author of several publications in international journals and book chapters.
