The present study may be useful for designing and development of products such as hat, curtains and blinds for UV protection using nettle fiber and natural colorants. This book comprises the reviews about the health hazards of UV rays, UV protection properties of fabric, nettle and natural dyes specifically madder and cutch dyes. The detail processes of weaving and dyeing of nettle fabric has been included.The effect of weaving and natural dyeing on the UV protection proprieties has also been discussed.
