The book examined the relationship between natural gas utilization and economic growth in Nigeria. It further checked for the direction of Causality between natural gas utilization and economic growth and in extension examined the long-run impact of natural gas utilization on the economy using production function approach. Based on its findings, the book has reached to the conclusion that natural gas utilization is an increasing function of economic growth and recommends that to achieve any future targeted rate of economic growth, the policy makers in Nigeria should prioritize gas utilization strategy.

Abdulrazaq Ibrahim is a school teacher at the Government Secondary School Kwankwaso, Kano state, Nigeria. He obtained his first and second degrees in Economics from Bayero University, Kano. He became Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in 2007 and teaches Economics and Computer Studies and has been teaching for the past seven years.
