With the rapid development of surgical techniques, minimally invasive surgery has become the focal point of medical innovation technology. This book aims to introduce a comprehensive and advanced techniques of natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES). Firstly, the development process and the current status of NOSES worldwide were described. Xishan Wang is a Professor and Director of Department of Colorectal Surgery, Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing, China. He is also the Chairman, Colorectal Cancer Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
