Autorenporträt
Dr. Shiv Kumar Dubey is Assistant Professor in the Biochemistry Department at the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, India, since 2015. He completed his master's and bachelor's degrees at the University of Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, India, where he also accomplished his PhD degree. He pursued his postdoctoral research at the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology, CNRS, Toulouse, France, and at the University of Michigan Cancer Comprehensive Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. His numerous fellowships, including the NET-JRF (National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship), given by the UGC-CSIR in India, have been awarded to Dr. Shiv Kumar Dubey. More than 25 research papers, book chapters, and reviews by Dr. Dueby have been published in reputable national and international journals. The results of his research have also been presented in numerous national and international forums, including conferences, seminars, and symposiums. Dr. Dubey has created a number of e-content modules and organized webinars and e-training sessions for the benefit of students. To his credit, he has supervised many student theses, led patents, and developed many courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is actively engaged in the areas of advanced biochemistry, chemoprevention, and natural product research. His work has considerably impacted the study of appropriately constructed curcumin bioconjugates, the validation of analytical methods, the effectiveness of nutraceuticals, and the development of their synthetic analogs for the treatment of cancer. His pursuit of bioprospecting of novel natural compounds for cancer chemoprevention is ongoing.
